What drives my work at the clinic is being able to make other peoples’ day lighter, brighter and more vibrant! Providing attentive, solution-based care has been at the heart of learning how to be a better resource to my patients. I like to employ a down-to-earth, strengths-focused approach in helping all patients upfront, and handling all aspects of clinic maintenance behind-the-scenes so they can focus on their healing and potential! In my downtime, I enjoy reading, practicing piano, seeing friends and cuddling my black cat Sunday.

Tony Torrez, PT, DPT

Senior Staff Physical Therapist

Tony found his passion for physical therapy following the end of his Marine Corps career as he wanted to continue his public service with a focus into the healing arts, and after being introduced to Massage Therapy through his mother, his wife noticed his excitement when working with more acutely injured patients. He received his B.S. in Kinesiology at Notre Dame de Namur University, and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. Since his graduation, he has been working with a wide variety of orthopedic injuries with a focus on integrating his massage therapy and physical therapy skills as a Manual Therapist, and has been building his expertise in myofascial decompression and pelvic health therapy. He wants to develop his skills in order to finish his Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification (PRPC) requirements, and earn his Manual Therapy Certification (MTC), his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and Orthopedic Specialist Certification (OCS) to better integrate a more holistic and in-depth approach to healing, and better educate his clients within all stages of athleticism from dormant to professional status to prevent reinjury.
